About the Role
StrucXure Building Consultants is seeking an experienced Remedial Engineer to join our growing team in Bondi, NSW. In this role you will assess, design and manage remediation solutions for building defects across residential and commercial properties, working closely with project managers, contractors and clients from investigation through to project completion. You will play a key part in diagnosing structural and waterproofing issues, preparing engineering reports and specifications, and helping deliver high-quality, compliant outcomes on complex remedial and strata rectification projects.
Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections and diagnose structural, waterproofing and concrete defects
Prepare engineering reports, remediation designs and technical specifications
Develop scopes of work and provide practical, cost-effective remedial solutions
Liaise with clients, strata managers, contractors and consultants throughout projects
Review contractor works and ensure compliance with codes, standards and specifications
Support project managers with technical advice, budgets and variations during delivery
Requirements
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) with CPEng/RPEng desirable
5+ years' experience in remedial, structural or building rectification engineering
Strong understanding of remedial building methods, waterproofing and concrete repair
Experience preparing engineering reports, designs and specifications
Proficiency with engineering design software and Microsoft Office
Excellent problem-solving, communication and time management skills
