Technical product reference for liquid-applied acrylic-based undertile waterproofing membranes for balcony and wet area remediation on Australian Class 2 strata buildings. Covers product selection, system requirements and procurement sources.
Liquid-applied undertile membranes for balcony and wet area waterproofing
Liquid-applied undertile membranes are applied by brush or roller and cure to form a continuous waterproof film beneath tile and screed finishes. Selection depends on substrate type, primer compatibility, required elongation and crack-bridging performance, and AS 4858 classification. Confirm system requirements with the manufacturer before specifying.
